Here are a few of the different ways you can contribute to the curriculum, if you’re interested. There are probably others:

this curriculum is discursive and relational - take positions, respond, etc

  1. Spot a gap in the curriculum (there are many) and contribute a new entry.
  2. Respond to an existing entry with a new one.
  3. Complete a placeholder entry; like this one on music information retrieval.
  4. Write a research note, like this one on Shazam, because there’s not yet any published writing that does the kinds of things you’re thinking of.
  5. Contribute to an existing or add a new introductory cat, which provides an entry point and some commentary on the entries that follow. For example.
  6. Create an entry about: a technique or method of machine listening; a field or sub-discipline within machine listening; a theme or problem in machine listening; a specific project, dataset, artwork, or other object of machine listening; an important figure or institution; something else we haven’t thought of yet.

ADD SOMETHING ON WHERE THEY GO
